Research Project: “Genetic Modification of cytokinin levels to enhance root system architecture and source-sink relationship for improving drought tolerance of rice”.

Junior Research Fellow
Post Graduate degree with NET in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Botany.
Experience in basic molecular biological techniques, gene cloning.
Selected candidates should be responsible for development of gene construct of overexpression and RNAi, Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation, Physiological and molecular analysis of rice transgenics.

Pay Scale/Salary is Rs 16000/- + 30% HRA.
